My name is Karlos . I have three brothers and one sister. I am from Gisborne. My culture is Maori. What I like about Maori is that they got a cool haka. I go to Awapuni school.

 My goals for this year is to get Better at my times tables, Using descriptive language in my writing And staying out of trouble.I like to write, Play basketball, scooter And swim. I am good at scootering, bombs, Drawing And writing on my Google drive.

 My life goal is to be a professional basketball Player and play in the Golden State Team. When I'm older I want to be like Kevin Durant. He inspires me of encouraging his team and being a NBA Superstar. And my best friend kairo Inspires me of support and Kindness.

The Ocean

this week room 2 has being learning about  interesting language  this is my ocean poem and i have in my writing what i can hear, smell and fell.

avoiding jumping off the diving boards

finely!!! the day had came the pools so i wake up in my warm cozy bed. i get dressed for the pools. vrrm vrrm as the loud silver car starts up. so we joyfully went to the pools with excitement goal was to jump off the diving bored.

we had arrived at our destination so we leap out of the shiny car ready for a swim. so we zoom in because the the yellow blazing sun was burning. so i hoped into the pool i was standing there in the freezing cold pool it was as cold as i pile of snow.

so i peacefully relaxed in the freezing cold pool.the hydro-slide is open so i zoom up the colorful gigantic  hydro-slide finely i had reached the top so i patiently wait in line. it was my turn so i lay my bright yellow board on the smooth slide and hop on it swish swash i speed down finely i had made it to the bottom kaboom!!! as i land into the blue shiny water.

so i make my way to the diving boards with fear. i had mad it there so i consciously  walk up the high diving board i new ones i get up there i could not turn back as i hear people cheering me on, 321 whoo!!! as i do a big manu boom!!! as the water goes in mid air so i swim to the silver medal ladder. karlos? o mum!! so i ran with happiness then we had to leave sadly.
